"This septet [...] sings out magnificently. Flower Drum Song gives us a most tender rendition of 'Love Look Away' from Kaldis. [...] Cinderella begets comedy [...] in 'When You're Driving Through the Moonlight.' [...] Rodgers and Hammerstein never had it so good."
-D.L. Groover for Houston Press

"The draw here is all about the cast. Each performer marvels in their own way [...] Laura Kaldis may be in charge but we see her crumbling on the inside."
-Jessica Goldman for Houston Press

"...the kind and gracious Elizabeth Darcy (Laura Kaldis)..."
-Chris Gray for Houston Chronicle
"...the other sisters are firecrackers. Elizabeth (Laura Kaldis) is sensible, modern, crafty, a lady..."
-D.L. Groover for Houston Press

What's the tea?...
Just Brewed: "Lightning in a bottle." That's how I would describe what it was to do the late Tom Stoppard's final and epic play, 'Leopoldstadt." Amazing colleagues, sold out extended run, incredible audience and critical responses, and a new extended family I'll never forget. Grateful.
Still Steeping: Honored to sing at Main Street Theater's '50th Anniversary Celebration' this May. She's showing off her high B natural, folks. Get ready!
Tea With Sugar:
"Always the diplomat, Laura Kaldis, as Elizabeth Bennet is all poise and soothing sister [...] charming and attractive..."
-Houston Press about 'Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley
"Laura Kaldis is his match as Katherina in this production. They are both extremely adept at doing physical comedy. [...] Watching them verbally spar is a joy, and watching them add in physical comedy is a revelation. These are some of the best Shakespeare performances I have seen, and they really are wonderful anchors for this show."
-BroadwayWorld about 'The Taming of the Shrew'
